Day-wise Itinerary

Day 1 & 2 Shimla to Kalpa (The Kinnaur Drive)

Start from Shimla and drive along the Sutlej river. Navigate the famous cliff-hanger roads of Kinnaur. Reach Kalpa and witness the majestic Kinner Kailash peaks at sunset.

Day 3 Kalpa to Kaza (Entering the Desert)

The real adventure begins! Drive through the barren, moon-like landscapes of the Spiti Valley. Cross the treacherous Khab bridge and Nako village before arriving in Kaza.

Day 4 Exploring High Altitudes (Key & Kibber)

Take your vehicle to the iconic Key Monastery. Drive up to Kibber village and cross the spectacular Chicham Bridge. Send a postcard from Hikkim, the world's highest post office!

Day 5 Kaza to Chandratal Lake (Off-Roading)

Today tests your driving skills. Ascend the Kunzum Pass (15,060 ft) and take the rugged dirt trail towards Chandratal Lake. Night stay in premium Swiss tents under a blanket of stars.

Day 6 Chandratal to Manali (The Final Stretch)

Drive through numerous water crossings (Pagla Nallah) and challenging boulder-strewn roads. Cross the Atal Tunnel or Rohtang Pass to reach the lush green valley of Manali. Trip ends with a farewell dinner.

Can I bring my own vehicle for this trip?

Yes, you can join the convoy with your own vehicle. However, it MUST be a high-ground-clearance SUV, preferably a 4x4. Sedans and hatchbacks are strictly not allowed on this route.

What if I don't know off-road driving?

No worries! You can opt to ride in our chauffeured 4x4 vehicles driven by our expert mountain drivers, and just enjoy the scenery.

Will altitude sickness be an issue?

Spiti is a high-altitude desert. We structure the itinerary to ensure gradual acclimatization. We also carry emergency oxygen cylinders in the lead vehicle.
